Object and acceptance.
Surfing on the www.tenerifewalkingfestival.com page which is the property of SPET, Turismo de Tenerife, S.A. assigns the status of user and involves the full acceptance without reservations of each and every one of the legal provisions included in this Legal Warning, which may undergo modifications. Likewise, the user recognises and accepts that access and use of the Web Site and/or of the contents included on it takes place freely and consciously under his exclusive liability.
The user undertakes to make correct and licit use of the Web Site and of the contents, in accordance with the applicable legislation, the present Conditions of Use of the Web Site, good faith, generally accepted good customs, public order, the uses of traffic and the present Legal Warning. With the result that the user will be answerable vis-à-vis SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. and vis-à-vis third parties, for the loss or damage that might be caused as a consequence of the breach of the said obligations.
Conditions of access and use of the web site.
SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. may establish limitations and/or additional conditions for use and access to the web site and/or its contents, which must be observed by all users under any circumstances.
The user recognises and accepts that it is SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. that holds the rights which govern the contents and/or any other elements inserted on the web site (including, without limitation, marks, logos, trading names, texts, images, graphs, designs, sounds, data bases, software, flow diagrams, presentation, audio and video), in consequence, they belong to SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. and/or to third parties who authorise SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. for their use on its Web Site. Under no circumstances does access to the web site involve any kind of total or partial waiver, transfer, licence or surrender of these rights except if the contrary is expressly stated. The present Conditions of Use of the Web Site do not grant users any other right of use, alteration, exploitation, reproduction, distribution or public communication of the web site and/or of its contents other than those here expressly set down. Any other use or exploitation of any rights will be subject to the prior and express authorisation specifically granted for this purpose by SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. or the third party who is the owner of the affected rights. For any other use apart from those that are expressly permitted, it will be necessary to obtain the prior consent in writing of the owner of the rights in question.
SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. does not guarantee the availability and continuity of operation of the web site or of those other web sites with which a Link has been established. Likewise, SPET Turismo de Tenerife S.A. will not under any circumstances be responsible for any damage or loss which might be derived from the lack of availability or accessibility of the web site, due to the interruption of the operation of the web site or computer failures, telephone breakdowns, disconnections, delays or blockages caused by deficiencies or overloading of telephone lines, the Internet systems or in other electronic systems caused in the course of operation.
The web site and its services are free and have free access, however, SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. makes the use of some of the services conditional on the prior completion of the corresponding form. The User guarantees the authenticity and validity of all those details that he communicates to SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. and he will be exclusively responsible for any false or inexact statements that he makes.
The User expressly undertakes to make proper use of the contents and services offered and not to use them to:
- Disseminate illegal, violent, pornographic, racist, xenophobic, offensive content, or that which is in justification of terrorism, or, in general, contrary to law or to public order.
- Introduce computer viruses onto the net or to carry out actions that might alter, spoil, interrupt or generate errors or damage in the electronic documents, data or physical and logical systems belonging to SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. or to third persons; nor to place an obstacle to the access of other Users to the Web Site and to its services by means of the massive consumption of computer resources by means of which SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. gives its services.
- Attempt to gain access to the e-mail accounts of other users or to restricted areas of the computer systems of SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. or of third parties and, if applicable, extract information.
- Violate the rights of intellectual or industrial property, or violate the confidentiality of the information of SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. or of third parties.
- Impersonate another User, the public administration or a third party.
- Reproduce, copy, distribute, make available or in any other way publicly communicate, transform or modify the Contents, unless it is done with the authorisation of the owner of the corresponding rights or unless it is legally permitted.
- Obtain data for advertising purposes and send advertising of any kind and communications with purposes of sale or others of a commercial nature without a prior application or consent.
Protection of Data and Services of the SI.
In fulfilment of the provisions of the Organic Act on Protection of Data of a Personal Nature, LOPD, 15/1999 of 13th December and its implementing regulations, SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. expressly, precisely and unequivocally informs that the data of a personal nature that the user provides with his or her consent, will be added to and treated in a file that is the responsibility of SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A., duly registered at the General Data Protection Registry, for the correct operation thereof.
The body responsible for the file is SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. , with registered address at C/Alcalde José Emilio García Gómez, nº 9 , 38005 , S/C de Tenerife and C.I.F.: A-38299061, or at any other address which, if applicable, may replace it and is registered with the Spanish Association for the Protection of Data, where the user can go in order to exercise his rights of access, rectification, cancellation or objection.
The user declares that he has been informed in accordance with the LOPD, that the data supplied contain true and complete information which he will keep updated – and the state of these data – which are necessary in order to carry out the service- is not the responsibility of SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A..
SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. may use “cookies” during the provision of services of the web site. Cookies are physical personal information files housed in the user’s own terminal. The user has the possibility of configuring his browser in such a manner that it will impede the creation of cookie files or it will warn about them.
If you choose to leave our web site via the links to web sites which do not belong to SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A., SPET will not be responsible for the privacy policies of those web sites or for the cookies that they may store in the user’s computer.

Procedure in case of activities of an illicit nature
If any user or a third party considers that there are facts or circumstances which reveal the illicit nature of the use of any content and/or of the conduct of any activity on the web pages included on or accessible via this web site, it will be necessary to send a notification to SPET, TURISMO DE TENERIFE S.A. duly identifying yourself, specifying the supposed breaches and declaring expressly and under your own responsibility that the information supplied in the notification is exact.
